Sections, deductions and awkward rooms

Rooms are rarely perfect rectangles. Add multiple sections to build up the total floor area, then subtract deductions for stairwells, fixed units, bay window returns or any feature that won't be covered. The flooring calculator handles the net area for you, so irregular spaces are priced just as accurately as a square lounge.

Wastage allowances built in

Every flooring type wastes differently — tiles break, planks get cut, carpet has joins. JobCalc applies a sensible wastage percentage to each job and adds it to the area before calculating packs, so your material order reflects what you'll actually lay. Adjust the wastage figure to match your own fitting style and the products you trust.

Labour, accessories and a finished quote

Set your material price per square metre, your labour rate per square metre or day rate, and switch on the accessories you need — underlay, gripper, door bars, scotia or adhesive. JobCalc totals everything, applies your profit margin and VAT, and produces a professional PDF you can email to the customer from the driveway.
